My girlfriend and I are located in Laurel, MD. Just outside the
Beltway.
I know there's a few others around :)

I'm another newbie, in Arlington, VA.
That Washington Post article is really going to swell the ranks of DC area
letterboxers! Local art stores are probably trying to figure out the reason
behind the sudden interest in eraser carving. ;-)
I knew about Dartmoor and always wanted to go, but didn't know about all
the U.S. letterboxing activity until that article.
After vacation, I'm going to get in some carving practice, then get going
with both hunting and planting. (I have some box ideas.) In DC, autumn
should be nice 'boxing weather. In summer, well... The heat index was 87
degrees at 11:30pm last evening!

Hey all!
I'm heading into DC next weekend with out of town
family. Going to the usual tourist spots.
Unfortunately this isn't a boxing trip, per se, but if
anyone can point out boxes to snag while visiting the
sights I'd be sure to pay them a visit.

Go across the Potomac river to Roosevelt Island, 2 letterboxes and a
beautiful monument of Teddy himself.
